University Accreditation

University of the Incarnate Word is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, doctorate, and professional degrees. The University also holds accreditation from the State Board for Education Certification, The National Association of Schools of Theater (NAST), the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas, the American Dietetic Association, and the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Additionally, the University is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT), the Commission of Accreditation of Athletic Training Education, and the Music Therapy Program is approved by The American Association for Music Therapy.
