The Associate of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition prepares students for an exciting future in the field of nutrition. Nutrition is a science with a powerful role to play in advancing health and wellness. Students will be well prepared for entry level jobs in a variety of areas, but will also be able to transfer into the Bachelor of Science of Health Sciences in Nutrition.
The AS Health Sciences - Nutrition does not meet the Didactic Programs in Dietetics (DPD) requirements for the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

Completion of a minimum of 30 semester hours must be taken at UIW.
Completion of 24 of the final 30 hours for the degree must be taken at UIW.
NOTE: Active-duty military are required to take a minimum of 15 hours at UIW.
