The School of Applied Sciences curriculum offers students an integrated program of applied sciences and arts that includes a global perspective and an emphasis on social justice and community service. The program extends educational opportunities to adult students who will benefit from the affordable tuition, flexibility of online course work and free textbooks at the undergraduate level.
Even if you are an adult student with previous educational experiences (in terms of GPA) that do not reflect your current commitment to your educational goals, rest assure that you will have a chance to prove yourself. Students must be out of high school for 5 years and have at least 3 years of work experience. The experience can be in the home, as might be the case with a stay-home parent.
Students who applied and were previously enrolled in the School of Applied Sciences or School of Professional Studies (Formerly UIW Online and ADCaP) but have not attended class in more than two terms do not need to complete a new application. To re-enroll into classes, please fill out the Student Readmission Form.
As part of the admissions process, request official transcripts from all previous schools you have attended after you have completed the admissions application. No admission can be completed, and no formal degree plan prepared, until we receive current (issued within the last 6 months) official transcripts from all post-secondary schools you have attended. Students with fewer than 24 transferable hours must also submit high school transcripts as well.
Official transcripts should be mailed to:
